The length of commitment depends on the reason for the foster request. Some animals just need to gain a little weight and others might need socialization or time to recover from a medical procedure. We also need foster parents for newborn kittens and puppies who need to be weaned outside of the shelter environment. Fostering can last anywhere between one week and a few months. When a plea is sent out, we specify the projected length so you reply to the opportunities that best fit your schedule.
